The purpose of this site is to educate the public on the activities of
organized crime and organized crime figures. Who are they? Who
are their associates? Who are the politicians who work with them? Which governments turn
their backs to their activities and refuse to confront them?
The information we provide is available from our extensive files, our experiences, interviews, police work, sources in the justice department and those familiar with several known crime figures, and through published reports. Included is a fascinating story of how the father of the man whose name honors O'Hare International Airport, was a confidant and associate of Scarface Al Capone.
By bringing this information together, we hope to offer a professional analysis and overview of organized crime not just in the Chicagoland area, but also around the country.
What's on
our Web Pages?![]()
You can go to TheMob Web Page and page through and
alphabetical listing of mobsters, looking up their biographies and transcripts from their
sentencings. There, you can also scan a listing of the Mob's lexicon, or get information
on MobPals, like Cicero's Town President Betty Loren-Maltese.
You can also check out a growing list of lawyers who cater to
the mob. There are even a collection of stories on the mob,
published in past issues of the IPSN. And, you can also read about the mobsters who turned
on their vicious criminal pals, the Beefers.
Included there is our 1994 series on the Cook County Sheriff's
Office, which is a must read. We provide excellent background on the politics and mob
activities in the notorious West Suburban community of Cicero
and the influence of Chicagoland organized crime in labor unions, i.e. the
Laborers Union, the Teamsters Union and the Hotelworkers Union.
