Email to Tribune reporters who wrote
good article on corrupt influences in Streets and
sanitation Todd, Laurie and Dan:
Very
good article today on corrupt influences behind perks
and monetary benefits granted to friends, cronies, and
associates of organized crime. (The "Outfit")
Joseph Spingola is the son of Accardo's choice for Local
1001 president and business manager pf Laborers Local 1001.
As Antonio Napoli points out on page 281 of his book, The
Mobs Guys, Joseph Spingola sr. was picked by Accardo to
succeed
Frankie "X" Esposito instead of the choice of the Rica (DeLucia)
faction, Thomas Crivellone. The three individuals who got
truck
driver licenses are probably mob connected
Sarussi.,Di Turi, Pagliuco are probably mob connected and
have their positions because of the corrup influence of
Bruno Caruso or Roti or Marci.
Sanchez, Carroll, and Acquirre are connected to politicans
who are mob connected or mob influenced
I would be curious as to who recommended Joseph Spingola as
legal counsel for individuals involved.
I would be curious what other mob connected individuals
Spingola serves as counsel to or what labor unions.
One can not write intelligently about organized crime in
Chicago without reading "The Mobs Guys"
