Francis John Schweihs was indicted on April 21, 2005, in the Northern District of Illinois, for racketeering conspiracy, RICO murder, and Hobbs Act Extortion. A federal arrest warrant was issued on April 22, 2005, for Schweihs' arrest. The indictment stems from Schweihs' alleged involvement in organized crime in Chicago, Illinois, specifically with racketeering conspiracy by committing the murder of a federal witness.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of Francis John Schweihs.
